Wingman Protocol is built on a simple principle: we don't hold your data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server that stores your dating life. This policy explains exactly what happens to your information.
Everything you log in the app — the prospects you add, your outcomes, your funnel, your missions, and your history — is stored on your device using Apple's on-device database. If you have iCloud enabled, it is backed up to your own private iCloud account, which only you can access. We do not host it, cannot read it, and never receive a copy of it.
The app has no login, no email, no password, and no user profile on any server. We do not know who you are.
If you subscribe to Pro and use the AI Coach or ProfileOps, the specific content you submit — the text you type for coaching, your funnel counts, or a photo of your own profile you choose to analyze — is sent over an encrypted connection to our processing service and on to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), solely to generate that analysis. It is used to produce your result and then discarded. We do not store it, we do not link it to you (there is no identity to link it to), and it is never used to advertise to you or sold to anyone.
Before your first photo analysis, the app shows a consent screen naming Anthropic. Anthropic's handling of data sent through its API is governed by Anthropic's own commercial terms, under which API inputs are not used to train its models.
Settings has a switch called Help calibrate the benchmarks. It is off unless you turn it on, and if you never turn it on, nothing in this section ever happens — the identifier described below isn't even created.
If you do turn it on, the app sends six whole numbers — how many prospects reached each stage of your funnel — together with a random identifier we generate. That identifier is not your name, your Apple ID, your device ID, or the advertising identifier, and it is not derived from any of them; it exists only so repeat uploads from the same app replace each other instead of piling up.
It never includes the nicknames you type, anything you wrote or received, photos, bios, your after-action notes, or any dates — our server records the month it received the numbers, so even "when you were active" stays on your phone. Uploads happen at most once a week, and only when your numbers have changed.
Why we ask: the benchmarks the app measures you against are researched estimates, not measurements of real users. This is how they stop being guesses. Because these numbers are not linked to you, we cannot find or delete a past submission on request — there is nothing tying it to you to search by. Turning the switch off stops all future uploads immediately.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us a signed, anonymous confirmation that a subscription is active — it identifies a subscription, not a person.
Because your data lives on your device and your own iCloud, you are always in control: delete the app to remove its on-device data, and manage or delete the iCloud backup in iOS Settings. There is no account for us to delete because there is no account.
Wingman Protocol is intended for adults and is rated 17+. It is not directed to children.
